40 Jahre Frauenbewegung in Deutschland

Consider travelling to the Conference Center "Evangelische Akademie Bad Boll" and brush up on your German while you attend a conference on "40 Jahre Frauenbewegung in Deutschland" from May 11 to 13, 2012!

For more information on this conference, visit http://www.ev-akademie-boll.de; then go to the left side of the home page of Bad Boll and click on "Programm" which will bring you to the events page. It is chronologically organized. Look for "11.05.2012-13.05.2012 Bad Boll "40 Jahre Frauenbewegung in Deutschland" and click on the title "40 Jahre Frauenbewegung in Deutschland"--voila!

My lecture will analyze the position of Christian organizations toward women and feminism in North America and Germany during the past few decades. I also heard that Alice Schwarzer agreed to speak at the conference!! As soon as I have more detailed information, I'll post it here.

HOW WAS THE BIBLE FORMED?

Come and attend my lecture at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, TX, on November 13, 2011 from 4-5:30 pm.

My lecture will answer the question posed by the church:
"How Was the Bible Formed?"

The event is part of a lecture series entitled "A Different Kind of Class". It encourages attendees to begin thinking critically about their faith, to raise questions, to be challenged in their convictions about what is true and to begin an intellectually honest inquiry about the doctrines of the church.

The church is located at
3101 Coit Road
Plano, TX 7505
PH 972-596-4303
